Amigos Student Art Contest 2020
Calling all Miami-Dade area kids ages 5 to 18! It’s time to get creative and showcase your talent to the world this summer by entering the Amigos Art Contest. Put your imagination to work and create an original piece of art that reflects the theme "Brighter Days Ahead." We chose this theme because we can all use a little sunshine during this most serious and difficult time.
Your submission must be an original work of art created by YOU and can be a drawing, painting, photograph, or graphic design. A digital image of your submission must be uploaded to our contest site as a jpg, png, pdf, or doc. Parents or an adult guardian will need be okay with your participation and submit the online entry for you if you are under the age of 18.
Submissions will be scored by a panel of judges on artistic merit, clarity of theme message, and originality. We will pick four winners from each of three age groups – elementary school, middle school, and high school. Winners will receive a gift card, have their work featured on the Amigos For Kids website, and receive an award certificate.
Submissions will be accepted from Monday, June 8, 2020 7:00 a.m. to Friday, July 24, 2020 11:59 p.m.

¡Llamando a todos los niños del área de Miami-Dade de 5 a 18 años! Es hora de ser creativo y mostrar tu talento al mundo este verano, participando en el Concurso de Arte de Amigos For Kids. Pon tu imaginación a trabajar y crea una pieza de arte original que refleje el tema "Brighter Days Ahead."
Tu presentación debe ser una obra de arte original creada por TI y puede ser un dibujo, pintura, fotografía o diseño gráfico. Una imagen digital de su envío debe cargarse en nuestro sitio del concurso como jpg, png, pdf o doc. Los padres o un tutor adulto tendrá que estar de acuerdo con tu participación y ayudarte a enviar la entrada en línea para ti si eres menor de 18 años.
Las presentaciones serán revisadas por un panel de jueces que considerarán el mérito artístico, la claridad del mensaje temático y la originalidad de cada pieza. Vamos a elegir a cuatro ganadores de cada uno de los tres grupos de edad: la escuela primaria, la escuela secundaria y el bachillerato. Los ganadores recibirán una tarjeta de regalo, tendrán su trabajo en el sitio web de Amigos For Kids y recibirán un certificado de premio.
Las presentaciones se aceptarán desde el lunes 8 de junio del 2020 7:00 a.m. hasta el viernes 24 de julio del 2020 11:59 p.m.
